Fairy light – Wood lamp for kids

This story began on the shore of a quiet lake, with a burnt tree stub gently washed by the waves. Enchanted by its raw beauty, I brought it home—at first, simply as a decorative piece. But day by day, as I observed the cracks, the whimsical textures, and the washed-out colors gifted by nature, inspiration started to bloom.

At first, I imagined it lying horizontally as a rustic coffee table, maybe with a delicate glass top. Then, I pictured it standing vertically—perhaps transformed into a small reading table or a bookshelf near the sofa, even hiding ambient lighting among its branches. Eventually, it revealed its true purpose: a floor lamp that seems to carry a quiet connection to Mother Nature.

To complete it, I added a slender branch with leaves and a thicker one I had rescued from the garden after an icy rain. Together, they created a symbiosis with the old stub—bringing it back to life with grace and warmth.

And because I love dedicating my creations to children, my thoughts wandered to how this lamp might find its place in a child’s or teenager’s room. Maybe it lights up a magical forest setting full of wonder and adventure, or a peaceful corner where wildflowers bloom beside flowing waters. Whether a spark for imaginative play or a soft light to guide dreams, I believe this fairy lamp has its own story to tell in every room.

Inspiration will strike again—of that I’m sure—and I’ll be here to share it. Until then, I remain at your side, ready to help you create enchanting spaces for your little ones, no matter their age.
