A Toy, a Chair, a Memory in the Making

Meet one of my proudest MINY WORLD creations: the Kids’ Lounger Chair Wooden Car — a multifunctional piece of furniture that’s part toy, part cozy chair, and all heart. It’s designed to last for generations and grow with your child from babyhood to big-kid adventures.

How It All Began

Last weekend, MINY WORLD had its first big outing at Le Salon des Salons VS. It was incredible to meet so many visitors, designers, and creators — and it felt like the perfect time to introduce this new little “baby” from our workshop.

The inspiration struck earlier this year when I stumbled upon a wood-threading jig kit online. Intrigued, I bought it immediately and started playing around, crafting wooden bolts and nuts just for fun. I set it aside for a while… until I came across a photo of kids at a party sitting in cardboard cars for a movie night.

Boom! The spark hit.

Why not create a beautiful, durable, flat-pack wooden car that kids can assemble themselves, play in, rest in, or even nap in?
