Ethan’s Garage – playhouse
Ethan is a bright, energetic 5-year-old who needed a personalized play area that could be integrated into his mother’s office space. His favorite toys? Work tools—some real ones included! He carries them proudly in a little backpack, ready to take on any job.
During our first visit, Ethan offered to help me with repairs around the house or the car, and even tried negotiating the price—just like a true entrepreneur. That’s when the idea came naturally: his own garage.
I designed and built this custom playhouse with Ethan’s interests in mind, incorporating interactive elements that require dexterity and spark imaginative play. Every piece was crafted to encourage creativity and hands-on exploration.
From construction to painting, color selection to the final finishing touches, working on this project was a real joy.
