These wooden coasters, handmade in the MINY WORLD workshop, use the napkin decoupage technique on 10x10cm wooden blocks—simple, creative, and perfect for all ages!

With a wide variety of beautiful napkins to choose from at the boutique, each coaster becomes a unique little piece of art. It’s an easy and satisfying DIY project—kids as young as six can join in with a bit of help!

Now, let’s get creative with your set of wooden coasters using the decoupage technique:

1. Carefully separate the napkin into three layers without tearing it. You only need the printed layer; the two white layers can be saved for cleaning your workspace.
2. Use the foam brush to apply a thin layer of glue onto one side of the wooden board. Avoid applying too much glue, as this could make the napkin too fragile.
3. Gently place the printed napkin layer onto the glued surface. Lightly tap with your fingers to ensure it adheres smoothly without air bubbles.
4. Move on to the edges using the same technique. You can cut the napkin with scissors or tear it by hand—it’s up to you! (you can cut only the top edge at the beginning and glue the bottom after)
5. Once dry, apply another layer of glue over the top. Don’t worry—once it dries, the glue will become transparent, giving your project a strong and lasting finish.
