You must be so fortunate to look like Audrey Hepburn, being blessed with the radiant beauty and style, the sophisticated air, and her charming innocence. For a ten-year-old little girl, life begins with a beautiful feeling that the world is a kind of blue.
I got the chance to design Tea’s bedroom and I must say that was such an excitement. Going back and forward between times, watching a movie long time forgotten,” Breakfast at Tiffany’s” really charmed my soul.
I started with a mood board, collecting inspired images, colors, and feelings for the concept. I choose a color palette inspired by the blue tiffany but slightly different, considering the calm atmosphere that we must create in a little girl’s room.
Then,I made the 3D project, rendering a few images to present to Tea’s mom, who loved it right away.
One of the big challenges of the project is to take a photo of Tea as close as possible from Audrey Hepburn’s and replace it in the real design! Painting old furniture and upcycling the dressing doors will make a big difference. Not to mention the canopy above the window that will transpose the room to another space, probably on 5th Avenue.
The shopping for the paint, fabrics, and accessories has already begun, so stay close to our social media and return to our website to check for updates.
How it turns out and how close I will keep the final details with the initial project is pretty interesting to see.
I can’t wait to share more of this project with you!
In the meantime, if you are in the process of designing or decorating your children’s room, do not hesitate to ask for help. We can talk about a digital project and you can carry on with the realization or a turnkey project that includes the whole process: design, shopping, furniture making or upcycling, painting, and setup.
Kindly,
Mihaela
